To record a zoom meeting, click on the "Record" icon and then choose "Record on this Computer" or "Record to the Cloud." This starts the recording.
Local Recording: this captures the recording directly to the host"s computer.
Cloud Recording: this captures the recording to Zoom"s cloud server. Please note, we have only 25GB of storage space campus-wide. When the recordings reach this limit, old recordings will get automatically deleted from the server. For this reason, we recommend downloading your cloud recordings to your local computer.
In case if dont have the option choose between "Record on this Computer" or "Record to the Cloud.", logon to https://www.zoom.us using your account and then click on "Settings" > "Recordings" and make sure that Local recording and Cloud recording options are enabled.
Click on "Pause/Stop Recording" to stop recording the meeting. Alternatively, you can also end a meeting to stop recording it. After you end the meeting, Zoom converts the recording to MP4 format and stores it in your preferred location.
To view the recorded videos, logon to https://www.zoom.us using your account and then click on
"Recordings" and then choose "Cloud Recordings" or "Local Recordings"
Local Recordings can also be viewed from Zoom window > Meetings > Recordings.
